1. The Service

AutoNarrate generates AI-narrated, captioned short videos from the topics, characters and prompts you provide, and can publish those videos to social accounts you connect (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram). Features may change or be discontinued at any time.

2. Your account and connected channels

• You may sign in with an email/password or with Google, Facebook, or Apple, where available. Social sign-in is used only to authenticate you and to pre-fill your profile (email address and name) — it is separate from, and does not grant access to, any social channel you separately connect for publishing.
• You are responsible for the accounts and channels you connect and for all activity that occurs through them via the Service.
• You confirm that you own, or are authorized to publish to, any channel you connect.
• You can disconnect a channel at any time, which removes its stored access tokens.

3. Your content and responsibilities

• You retain ownership of the content you create with the Service, subject to the terms of the underlying AI providers.
• You are solely responsible for the content you generate and publish, and for ensuring it complies with all applicable laws and with the terms and policies of the platforms you publish to (including the YouTube Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, the TikTok Community Guidelines, and the Instagram/Meta Community Standards).
• You must not use the Service to create or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, harmful, or that violates the rights of others.

4. Billing & Subscriptions

• Payments are processed by our payment provider, which acts as Merchant of Record for the transaction. The provider is the seller of record for your purchase, issues invoices, and handles applicable VAT/sales tax. Your card details are handled by the provider and never reach our servers.
• Plans (Starter, Creator and Pro) are monthly subscriptions. Credits are granted at the start of each billing period, and unused credits do not roll over to the next period unless stated otherwise on the Pricing page.
• Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from your billing portal. Access continues until the end of the period you’ve already paid for; we do not provide partial-period refunds for cancellation.
• Refunds. Because credits are consumed by AI generation costs as you use them, all purchases are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.
• Price changes. We will announce any price changes at least 30 days in advance.
• Launch pricing. Launch pricing is shown against the regular list price and applies for the period stated on the Pricing page.
• Fair use. Content generated using a paid plan must comply with these Terms and applicable platform policies. We may suspend accounts for abuse without refund.

5. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Anthropic (script writing), Google Gemini (scene images and narration), Pollinations (fallback image generation), GitHub Actions (video rendering), Supabase (accounts, database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), YouTube, TikTok and Instagram (Meta). Your use of features that depend on these providers is also subject to their respective terms. When you connect and publish to these platforms, your use of them is also governed by the YouTube Terms of Service. Publishing to YouTube uses YouTube API Services and is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service; Google’s Privacy Policy applies. Your use of these platforms is also governed by the TikTok Terms of Service, and the Instagram Terms of Use.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it, access it without authorization, or use it to generate spam or content that violates platform policies.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AI-generated output may be inaccurate or unexpected; you are responsible for reviewing content before publishing it.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoNarrate will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue or profits arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or to protect the Service or its users.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
